Education Qualification for SSC CGL 2026
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification to apply for most SSC CGL posts. However, certain posts require specific educational qualifications. For example, some positions require Mathematics as a subject in Class 12, a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics, or professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent credentials.

SSC CGL Notification 2026 Out
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for 12,256 vacancies for AAO, ASO, JSO, SI, Examiner, Sub Inspector, Divisional Accountant, Auditor etc. posts. The online application process began on 21st May 2026 and will remain open until 22nd June 2026 (11 PM). All the posts fall under Group B and C category for which an open Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in August- September 2026.
